Diva Fest
Both times that I tuned into Oprah last week, I learnt about the lil young singing sensation from the Philippines named Charice. She sang Whitney’s ‘I have Nothing’ on the show and holy–what a voice. She has made me cry everytime I have heard her sing. What a big fat sap I am! Hehe.
Anyway, do you think that I have been able to get Whitney out of my head since then? Nope. I have just gotten hold of a heap of her tracks, the cool old skool ones, you know, ‘Saving All My Love’ and such? Remember those days? So, I am blaring them now, and my little boy is thinking what the? and my poor neighbours are no doubt wondering what the hell has happened to me. Hubby would be so glad that he is not home right now.
So I hope Charice goes far, cause she’s so talented… and as for those 80s-style power ballads that they don’t make anymore, well, I wish they would! I can’t handle the crap on the radio these days.
