Goodbye Sleep-Ins

Well, in an effort to try and better manage my time these days, I created a personal timetable for weekdays only. I don’t have the best track record for things like this but I’m going to do my best to stick to it. (I’m usually up at 7:30am but find that I’m not really starting my day until about 9:30am.) The other morning, I kickstarted the timetable by mistake. My boy woke up earlier than usual and by the time I had settled him, it was just before 6am. Normally, I would’ve gone back to bed (I really need the sleep these days!) but I decided to stay up and organise my day instead. It was a great move! It made me realise the value of early starts and that the timetable was much-needed. By 9am, I felt so organised and it seemed like I had hours and hours left for the day.

So, that’s it — I don’t need any more convincing. No more sleeping in past 6:30am during the week! They now remain a weekend luxury.
